Motion Plus is implemented to give players a greater degree of control over Link's sword swinging and other abilities with near 1-to-1 motion control. The game requires the use of the Wii Motion Plus accessory. Announced in E3 2009 and unveiled at E3 2010, Skyward Sword is the first Wii-exclusive Zelda title. The game is directed by Hidemaro Fujibayashi, with Eiji Aonuma taking up the role of producer.
